Don't usually do this on actual playthroughs though. I know its bad though to mess with those kind of objects. Usually in Sanctuary when i plan on building a similar shaped house in place of one of the shitty looking houses. Kind of wish you could disable the scrapping of the large static objects though. They go pretty well together from what i can tell. For what its worth its my favorite scrapping mod(s) after having tried a number of others. (One of the Base_Static whatevers, a combination of objects, i think they are called precombines) and had to start all over at the settlement cause i hadn't saved anywhere along the way.
